- Come From Away at Missoula Children's Theatre, 7:30 PM. The Gander, Newfoundland musical opened MCT's community season Thursday. Recommended 13+, runs through Oct. 18.
- Missoula Fall Fest at Grass Valley Farms, 5280 Deschamps Lane, 4 to 8 PM. Corn maze, hayrides and a pumpkin patch; $25, kids 3 and under free.
- Freya Halland: The Model, stand-up at the ZACC, two shows (doors 6:30 and 8:30 PM). Ages 16+.

- Clark Fork River Market under the Beartracks Bridge, 9 AM to 1 PM, plus Missoula's Farmers Market at the XXXXs on Higgins from 9 AM.
- Folkbird Tiny Halloween Handmade & Vintage Market at Folkbird Cottage, 10 AM.
- Parks Palooza Block Party at McCormick Park, 11 AM to 8 PM. Hayrides and cider pressing run 11 to 3, a bike parade rolls at 1:30, and Currents Aquatics Center stays open late until 8.

📚 At the library: the Comics Arts of Missoula Festival fills the fourth floor Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, with vendors, panels and tutorials on comics, graphic novels and zines. Also Saturday: a stop-motion animation workshop for kids (1 PM) and Saturday Tiny Tales (3 PM). Sunday brings Rattlesnake Stormwater: Water, Roads & Our Watershed at 2 PM. The library is closed Monday for Indigenous Peoples' Day.
🍺 Brews & music: Draught Works throws a Customer Appreciation Party Saturday from noon, with Tom Catmull at 7 PM and Sunday Jazz Night at 6 PM. OddPitch Brewing has bingo Saturday at 6 PM and a pinball tournament Sunday at 4 PM. Sunday also has yoga at Western Cider (11 AM), game day at Cranky Sam (noon) and Dram Tuff Trivia at the Dram Shop Central (6 PM).

- Saturday: Trekker Kids at Travelers' Rest State Park in Lolo, 11 AM. The 1st Annual Jack Saloon Fall Festival runs 2 to 7 PM up Graves Creek Road.
