The City of Missoula's Road Report lists two closures running into this week: a southbound lane closure on Flynn Lane north of Mullan Road, posted through Wednesday morning, and the Schramm Street closure in the Westview Park area, which is scheduled to end Saturday. On the state highways, Montana 511 lists no construction-related restrictions in Missoula County as of Monday morning, the I-90 paint striping between Petty Creek and Huson wrapped up last Friday, and the five-ton weight limit on the Nine Mile Slide Bridge remains in place.

Next week

As of Monday morning, the Road Report shows no planned closures starting the week of November 9. Both of this week's listings, Flynn Lane and Schramm Street, are scheduled to end before then. Downtown, the city said in late October that exploratory subsurface work for the Downtown Safety and Mobility project could show up on Higgins Avenue, Front Street and Main Street in the coming weeks, but it has not posted dates or traffic effects, and the Road Report lists nothing downtown.

State highways

Montana 511 lists no construction-related restrictions on I-90, US-93, US-12, MT-200 or MT-83 in Missoula County as of Monday morning. The nearest work is just over the line in Mineral County: the Montana Department of Transportation says crews with Frontier West will begin building crossovers on I-90 near the Cyr Interchange, about five miles west of Alberton, during the week of November 2, and drivers should expect single-lane closures while that happens. The crossovers will carry two-way traffic on the eastbound side when the westbound bridge over the Clark Fork is replaced starting in spring 2027. The Exit 70 ramps stay open. As of Monday morning the 511 listing for that stretch, mile markers 66.1 to 66.4, still said no traffic restrictions at this time, so check 511 before heading west. MDT news release
